Look At What’s Happening in Year 3/4


 Today we made our own cave paintings to start off our new topic of ‘Tribal Tales’ – Stone Age to the Iron Age.

















Today Year 3 and 4 had a visit from a lady from the Stone Age. She told us all about what it was like to live in the Stone Age and showed us lots of different artefacts.

















Today in Year 3 and 4 we had a go at weaving using paper, to see what it would have been like in the Bronze and Iron Age to weave clothes.

 Today in Year 3 and 4 we had a go at learning some Judo.

















This week in space week we had a go at creating our own space art.

















This week for space week each class was given a planet to design and create a model of, Year 3 make Jupiter and Saturn, Year 4 made Uranus and Neptune.


































In Year 3 the children made their own Iron Age weapons using a range of materials.


















To start our new topic ‘India’ we painted our own elephant pictures in water colour.

















Today in Year 3 and 4 we had a visitor come in and show us how to make different models using a LEGO We Do 2.0 kit. From that, we made our own version of a tuk tuk.
















Today in Year 3 the children had a net and ball sports afternoon.

















This term in Year 3, we have learnt how to play the drums.

















This week in Year 3, we completed 3 days of pedestrian training. This showed and trained us how to cross the road safely.

















Today the parents joined Year 3 and 4 for our Christmas crafts parents afternoon.





























Today in Year 3 and 4 we visited Birkdale Drive for a carol service.






















Today in Year 3 and 4 to finish our topic of Indian we made the Taj Mahal using different recycled materials.























Today in Year 4 we made Viking longboats to start off our new topic of ‘Traders and Raiders’






















Today in Year 4 we had a netball sports afternoon, where we learnt lots of new netball skills.
















This week in interfaith week, we learnt about the faith of Sikhism. We had a visitor come in a tell us all about his religion of Sikhism.
















Today in Year 4 we researched different Viking weapons and made our own Viking helmets.
