The Queen’s 90th Birthday

We enjoyed celebrating both The Queen’s and Mrs Fallows’ birthday on April 21st 2016.  We helped to prepare our party food and enjoyed playing games, dancing and sharing the food together.  In the week leading up to the party, we looked at photos of The Queen and the Royal Family and listened to The National Anthem.  We each made a crown to wear at the party and also listened to the story ‘ The Queen’s Knickers.’

St George’s Day 2016

Although we couldn’t celebrate on the actual day, we enjoyed learning about our Patron Saint a couple of days late!  We read the story of George and the Dragon, made our own England flags, contributed to a big flag (and practised our cutting skills) and decorated a cake to take home.
