Next week, our assembly theme is going to be Harvest and the children will be thinking about where our food comes from and being grateful for the food that we have. As part of this celebration, we are holding a Harvest Food Collection in school to celebrate Harvest Festival and would like to ask for your support with this. An idea of the type of things that we are hoping to collect are listed below:

· Pasta / spaghetti / macaroni etc.

· Rice

· Baked beans / tinned spaghetti

· Basic tinned vegetables e.g. potatoes, carrots, peas, sweetcorn

· Tinned tomatoes

· Soup (tinned & packet)

· Pot noodles / instant pasta or rice meals

· Sandwich spreads

· Marmite, jam, marmalade

We will then take our Harvest Festival donations to the local food bank. We would be incredibly grateful if you are able to spare a can or packet of non-perishable food to donate to our food collection. Please bring any donations to the main office or your child can pass it to their class teacher.

I love this school. They are so supportive of my child.

My child has flourished since coming to Bankfields. My child is more comfortable and confident than ever, and we are grateful for the inclusion, understanding and helpfulness of the staff.

My child really enjoys coming to school. Since starting school, they have come on so much and even with their additional needs. Without support from school, I don’t think they would be thriving like they are. A big thank you to each staff member that supports my child each day.

My child continues to make excellent progress each year, and it is amazing to watch them grow in confidence and behaviour towards learning.

My child is very happy at school, and we’re pleased with the progress they are making.

Thank you for the prompt support recently when we needed it.

My child has settled into nursery very well and looks forward to coming every day.

I’ve always found this school a lovely place to send all of my children.

I am very pleased with the school, teachers, the opportunities they have and my child’s progress.

My child is doing well and loves school. A big thank you to all of the staff!
