Homework

Reading

In Key Stage 1 we like children to read four times a week at home. If they achieve this for a full half term they receive a special treat of a new book and an activity afternoon.

 

English

Spelling homework will be given out on Monday. Please try to encourage your child to write a sentence containing the spelling words. During the quiz the children will be asked two mystery words,  these will contain the sound of the week and demonstrate whether the children can apply their knowledge of the spelling pattern.

 

Maths

Maths work will be linked to the weekly topic if given.
